Notifications

You can access this list of the notifications by following the below steps:

1) Make sure you are logged-in to the right project using the Web Dashboard of the Onsite System.

2) Only if you are logged-in with "Project Admin" privileges will you be able to see the "Setup" menu item on the left.

3) Click on "Setup" 

4) Click on the "Notifications" sub-menu item under the "Setup" main menu item

5) The list of all the notifications is listed

6) In "Notifications Filter" column, you can check the customized notification fields, for example, if the notification id only for some specific issue statuses and for a specific issue category you will see the following:

 7) You can add notification by clicking on the "Add New Notification" button on the top right side

8) You will have several criteria for adding a new customized notification:

  • Schedule: Daily, Weekly and Monthly: By default Daily option is selected as true. You should add a new notification with at least one of these three options is selected as true.
  • All issues or just the updated ones: Updates only or All issues: you should select one of these two options to receive notifications for all issues or on issue update only.
  • Select users/teams that you would like to create new notifications for: You will have a list of users you need to create the notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Status': Select issue statuses you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Issue Category': Select issue categories you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Plan Group': Select issue plan groups you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Plan': Select issue plans you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Assigned Team': Select issue assigned teams you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Inspector': Select issue inspectors you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter by 'Priority': Select issue priorities you need to send notifications for.
  • Filter 'Due By Date' within: Select issues that are due by withing 1, 3 or 7 days you need to send notifications for.

9) You can edit a notification as well by clicking on edit button  on the last column of each record in the notifications grid. You can edit all the criteria mentioned in the Add Notification section.
